Participation Types & Fundraising Commitments:
All fundraising minimum commitments must be completed by October 23, 2017. Guaranteed Entries are cannot be transferred or refunded. Guaranteed Entries can only be canceled or deferred if the minimum fundraising commitment has been met.
 
  • $2,620 - Guaranteed Entry  - SOLD OUT
    • There is a $100 sign-up fee for Guaranteed Entry Participants
 
  • $600 - Own Entry
    • Runners who secure their own entry into the Marathon via Time Qualifying, Drawing, or being a Legacy Runner can join Team HFOT through for a lower fundraising commitment of $600.
    • Team HFOT does not provide entrance into the race for Own Entry participants.
    • There is a $10 sign-up fee for Own Entry participants

Team HFOT's registration is a multi-step process to secure Guaranteed Entries, and these must be completed by noted deadlines in order to participate. 
  • Sign up for Team HFOT using the Register link above
  • You will be sent an email to submit your fundraising guarantee  & sign our waiver – both of these must be complete to finalize registration
    • To submit your fundraising guarantee, you will be required to enter your credit card information into our fundraising platform through the Recommitment Link in your Headquarters. Your card will only be charged if you do not reach the fundraising minimum commitment by the deadline of October 23, 2017.
  • Register with the Marathon through our specific link (to be provided)
  • Own Entry participants need to only complete the first and second bullet above. They do not need to re-register with the Marathon. 

Fundraising Commitments must be met by October 23, 2017 for all Team HFOT members.

About the Event: The 2016 TCS New York City Marathon on November 6, 2016, had a record number of finishers, 51,388, setting a new mark as the the largest marathon on the world. Ghirmay Ghebreslassie of Eritrea became the youngest male winner in race history; Mary Keitany of Kenya won the women's race for the third consecutive time. Wheelchair champions were Marcel Hug of Switzerland and Tatyana McFadden of the United States (winning the marathon grand slam for the fourth time). The 2017 TCS New York City Marathon will take place Sunday, November 5, 2017.
